Our Privacy Commitment

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

At AI VOWs, we believe your digital union is a private matter. Privacy is paramount.

Automatic Deletion: To ensure maximum anonymity, all personal data provided for your ceremony (such as names used in the ritual) is automatically and permanently deleted from our temporary systems within 24 hours of your ceremony's completion.

No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Service Providers: We only share the minimum necessary data with our infrastructure partners (like Google Firebase for hosting or Stripe for payments) to technically facilitate the service. These partners are prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

AI VOWs is designed with a privacy-first philosophy. We do not require user accounts, logins, or traditional registration.

Personal Data: While using Our Service, We only collect the minimal information necessary to customize your experience, such as First Names and preferred pronouns. This data is used solely to generate your ceremony and symbolic certificate.

Payment Data: Transactions are handled through secure third-party processors (Stripe/Paddle). AI VOWs does not see or store your credit card information or billing address.

Usage Data: We collect limited, anonymous technical data (such as browser type and time spent on the app) to ensure the ceremony engine runs smoothly.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Purpose of Disclosure: Your data is disclosed only to facilitate the technical delivery of your ceremony. We do not disclose your personal information for marketing, profiling, or any commercial purpose outside of your direct request to "Begin Your Journey."

Categories of Disclosure:

  • Service Providers: We share necessary data with infrastructure partners, specifically Google Firebase for secure hosting and Stripe/Paddle for payment processing.
  • Ceremony Logic: Temporary data is processed via the Gemini Live API to provide your real-time, interactive Virtual Celebrant experience.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

The 24-Hour Rule (Our Privacy Mandate)

Short-Term Storage: Any personal identifiers (such as first names or pronouns provided in Settings) exist on our servers only long enough to generate your ceremony and symbolic PDF certificate.

Automated Permanent Deletion: Per our Privacy Mandate, all user-provided data is automatically and permanently purged from our active databases within 24 hours.

Third-Party Handling: While we delete data on our end, payment processors (Stripe/Paddle) may maintain their own records as required by financial regulations.
